The Cure reviewed on SmoothJazz.com!

One of the brightest, sexiest and most engaging Smooth Jazz albums to cross our desks in some time. THE CURE prescribes a cool combination of vocals, sax and flute with home brewedconcoctions of Smooth Jazz, funky grooves and sultry vocals. Johnny“Dr. J” James’ career spans some 25 years… known as Dr. J, the talentedsax man has appeared with well-known Rap, Hip Hop and jazz artists overthe years and is held in the highest regard… often compared to Grover Washington, Jr. THE CURE is a true musical celebration of life, love and music with killer originals and exceptional covers including a jazzy version of Stevie Wonder’s “Living for the City” (with and without vocals), plus, The Bee Gees’ “How Deep Is Your Love,”along with compelling originals like the sensual “Your Love” and thesophisticated “Our Love Song.” Heal yourself today and dose up on THECURE… Dr’s orders! ~SANDY, SmoothJazz.com

All That Jazz featuring The Cure

"Johnny James is one terrific saxophonist.  Whether on alto or soprano, Johnny has mastered his craft.  The production is stellar, but what I love most are the songs on his recording,  The Cure."
